Founded in March 2020 during the unprecedented challenges of the Level 5 COVID-19 restrictions, Kasi Hero Foundation emerged as a ray of hope in the heart of Pimville Zone 9, South Africa. This non-profit organization was established by Tankiso Joseph Moremi and Ndivhuwo Liphadzi, two passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact on their community.
At the core of Kasi Hero Foundation’s inception was a simple yet profound mission: to provide meals to the children of our community. With schools closed and the world grappling with uncertainty, we recognized that many kids in our community relied heavily on the meals they received at school. Our founders knew that something had to be done, and so, the journey began.
What started as a mission to fill empty stomachs quickly evolved. Kasi Hero Foundation started receiving numerous requests for assistance, spanning a wide range of needs, including wheelchairs, sanitary pads, and food parcels. We couldn’t stand still in the face of these pleas for help, and so, our organization expanded its scope of services.
The work you guys do is truly inspiring abuti absolutely beautiful 😍 🤩
